D.U.I. or "Driving Under the Influence" is a pretty serious ticket. An officer may suspect you are under the influence of an illegal substance, or too much alcohol. In the case of alcohol they can sometimes order a field sobriety test, or a "Breathalyzer" - To test your blood alcohol level. If you fail either of these tests you could be charged with a DUI. You can lose your license for up to a year, and be required to attend classes to get it back.
"Then they slammed on the brakes..." and you rear-ended someone... Sometimes we're following too close when driving, it can happen, and usually results in a minor accident. So the cops show up, and you have to explain what happened - but because you were the one that rear-ended the other person it's pretty much 100% your fault.. or was it?

Sometimes we think we have enough time to make it through that set of lights but we don't - and an officer doesn't even need to pull you over! There are red light cameras set up all over the place, and about a week later you get a nice red light ticket in the mail...
